What is Brave's "De-AMP" feature? Follow
AMP, or Accelerated Mobile Pages, is a non-standard subset of HTML developed and pushed by Google. AMP pages are served from Google’s servers, though designed to look like they’re coming from the original publisher’s site.
Brave automatically redirects AMP and similar pages to the publisher’s page, which has privacy, security, usability and performance benefits. You can read more in our blog post announcing De-AMP.
When this feature is enabled, Brave also applies the same protection against Yandex Turbo Pages.
To toggle this feature, you can go to brave://settings/privacy
and click Auto-redirect
