Which sites allow me to tip individual users? Follow
Starting after the update to Brave Browser v0.68x, you now have the ability to Tip individual Tweets, Reddit posts and Github contributions. This feature is built-in to Brave and can be enabled or disabled at any time.
Note that this feature is enabled by default.
Enable or disable content-level Tips
In your browser:
Navigate Menu → Brave Rewards → Tips Settings
- Check/Uncheck the desired sites in which you’d like to allow content-level Tips:
Tipping individual content
When you visit one of the sites you have enabled this feature for, you will see a new BAT icon with Tip next to it:
Click this new button to reveal the Creators tipping banner and determine how much you’d like to tip them:
How can I tell if a Twitter user is Brave verified?
A warning will appear in the tipping banner if the user has not yet been verified:
