What do the referral metrics on my dashboard mean? Follow
NOTICE:
As of November 24, 2020, the Referral Program has ended. New and existing users are no longer able to earn BAT rewards for referring new users to Brave. This change does not affect the ability to register as a Brave Creator or receive BAT tips from your audience as a Creator.

Referral Metrics
After you verify your channel and opt-in to the referral promotion, you will see three metrics being tracked on the dashboard.
Downloads: Increments if a user you referred downloads the Brave Browser using your referral code.
Installs: Increments when a user opens the Brave Browser for the first time.
Confirmations: A referral confirmation is any user who downloads Brave from your referral page and proceeds to use the browser for a minimum of 30 days since the browser was first opened. Your referrals must reach confirmed status in order for you to earn the associated BAT reward.
Groups
Starting October 1st, 2019, the following referral rate changes will take effect:
Each country and region is assigned to a group, each group has a flat rate:

Referral Payouts
In order to claim referral payouts as fiat currency, you will need to link a verified Uphold or Gemini account. These payouts will occur on the marked payout date listed underneath your BAT balance on the Rewards dashboard.
Changes to the referral system
When we launched the referral program, the goal was to discover which areas would we see the most growth and to test the viability of the referral program as a whole. Our level of zoom was pretty wide (Planet Earth) and the rate was $5 per user, globally. Since then, we have launched our Ads program and we want to shift our level of zoom to more regional efforts, with a specific focus on the areas where we can deliver ads. This is a straightforward business decision.

Downloads：紹介したユーザーが紹介コード(紹介URL)を使用してBrave Browserをダウンロードした場合に増加します。

Confirmations：インストールから最低30日経過後にBraveが利用された際に増加します。 報酬は確認に対してのみ発生します。ご注意ください。
リファラルシステムの変更について
紹介プログラムを開始した当初の目的は、最も成長が期待できる地域を明らかにし、紹介プログラムの実行可能性をテストすることでした。対象エリアは全ての国・地域で、獲得ユーザーあたりの単価は世界共通で5ドルでした。今回、Brave Ads(広告)を開始したこともあり、今後は広告を配信できる地域によりフォーカスをしていくというビジネス判断をしました。
グループ
2019年10月1日から、次の報酬単価に変更となります。
各国・地域はグループに割り当てられ、各グループ毎に報酬単価が設定されます。
