Brave Wallet is built-in to the browser, but you can disable functionality and remove it from view in your browser toolbar.

To disable the Brave Wallet, enter brave://flags/#native-brave-wallet in your browser’s address bar.

You will see the Enable Brave Wallet option.

Change this option to Disabled.

The Relaunch browser option will appear in the bottom-right. Your changes will take effect the next time you relaunch Brave.

Note: If Brave Wallet was previously set as your default Web3 wallet, it will need to be adjusted to use extension-based wallets. You can find more on this here.
