How do I swap tokens with Brave Wallet? Follow
Follow these steps to learn how to swap from one asset to another using Brave’s built-in swap aggregator. Swaps are currently available for Ethereum, Solana, and many EVM-compatible chains (Polygon, BNB Chain, Celo, Avalanche, Fantom, Optimism, and Aurora).
- In your browser, visit
brave://wallet
, click the wallet icon (), or select
Main Menu --> Wallet
to view the Brave Wallet page. - Select Swap in the wallet panel or expanded wallet view:
- Select the network and account you want to make the transaction with. By default, the swap will be made on your currently selected account and network. Switching networks will change the list of available crypto assets based on the assets you have in that account and on that network.
- Select the assets you want to swap from and to, and the amount to swap. Brave Swap will automatically find the best route for your swap based on price and slippage, showing you accurate estimates as you progress through the swap flow (thanks to powerful APIs from 0x and Jupiter).
- Approve the assets for swapping. Depending on the blockchain network, you may need to sign a transaction prior to the swap in order to give approval for the swap tool to use the tokens in your wallet. Brave Wallet will walk you through this process.
- Confirm the transaction. Once the swap has been configured and initiated, all that’s left to do is confirm. After completing the swap, you’ll get a link to a block explorer where you can view expanded transaction details, and sometimes (blockchain network depending) an estimate for when the transaction will settle.
